In the afternoon of May 16, an expert group led by Qiu Meihui, member of the Party Group and chief engineer of Fujian Emergency Management Department, visited the Company to provide guidance to safety work. Lin Xu, vice president of the Company, attended the meeting to report.

Lin Xu welcomed Qiu Meihui and his group and introduced the Company's production safety management work, fire protection and gas prevention management. He commented that the Company managed various HSSE work through OIMS, and has completed the Level-3 Production Safety Standardization assessment. The Company has been promoting the integration of Production Safety Standardization and the OIMS, proactively conducting special rectifications and safety publicity/ education, improving the “Dual Prevention System” of risk classification and hazard identification/ rectification, actively working on the "Three Simultaneous" works concerning construction projects, thus to improve overall safety performance of the Company.

Liu Hua, director of the Hazardous Chemicals Safety Supervision and Management Division of Fujian Emergency Management Department, introduced the purpose, significance, work arrangement and expected results of this visit.

At the meeting, Lin Xu also answered in detail the questions raised by the group.

According to the work division, the expert group inspected and checked the Company's regulations, documents and records vs. each item of the checklist, asked questions and inspected field production safety works of the Company.

Related personnel from Quanzhou municipal and Quangang district level, as well as Quangang Petrochemical Industry Park accompanied the visit. (Zhang Lei)
